Nightmare service

The customer service is non-existent and definitely not located in the U.S. These people claimed to have made a clerical error and deducted my payroll from someone else's account (really?) and wanted me to pay them over $10K. I showed them they were in error and my payroll had come out of my account, but instead of looking at the proof, they just suddenly suspended my payroll and my employees didn't get paid. When my attorney and I called them to resolve the matter, they hung up on us. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever encountered. They have made several mistakes with my account. I believe this company is extremely dishonest and criminal in their actions. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ADP. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

ADP is the worse and needs to be investigated!

I signed up for the Health Flexible Spending account of $5,000.00. When I went to leave my job, I called ADP and was told verbally and in a written email that the money I contributed would be available until 3/31/2013. One month after I ended employment I went to use my card and it was denied. I have a credited balance that I paid in of over $3,000.00. When I called them, they said too bad and hung up. There has got to be a way to file a complaint against them especially since I have written email confirming what they told me.

ADP looses payments on purpose

I have had ADP COBRA dental. ADP kept loosing my payment. That would be easy fix since I have proofs of all my payments. ADP keeps loosing all the proofs of all my payments. I have faxed/emaled the proofs of payments four (4) times to a specific person - Judy, whom I was directed to. I faxed but was not allowed to call Judy and speak to her. I am convinced that "Judy" never existed. It is obvious that this organization is fraudulent and steals money. I have spoken to number of representatives, each of them telling me completely different information about my payments, and every time a different payment was lost. Most of them were obviously making information up as they either had no clue or were covering up the fraud. Even though there is very little money involved, I am still planning on filing complaint with Better Business Bureau and the state of Nevada where I currently live. I suggest that everyone does the same in his/her state, so we can together put the thiefs where they belong.

I was with ADP for 1 year and Paychex for 6 months, I can honestly say they have the worst service ever. I recently changed our Payroll service provider to a small company name R.P.S.

of Tampa, Inc and I wish I would have done this earlier. They have outstanding service and you always talk to a live person. If anybody is looking for outstanding and quality service please check out this company. I promise I will never use ADP or Paychex again.

Most business owns become complacent and think that ADP and Paychex is the only payroll companies in the world you're wrong. Smaller payroll companies are more dedicated to working hard for their clients.

Holding over $1000 Hostage for legitimate expenses

Written by MyRocky on April 24, 2012 from arlington, virginia, US We had a different Flex fund last year and the company my husband works for switched to Flex Direct - ADP. They are horrible. My youngest daughter is disabled and has a service dog. They asked for no documentation about "dog food" and paid it without a problem as they should have for a service animal. I also submit my dependend care receipts under medical because my daughter is disabled (and according to IRS regulation 502) that is OK and spelled out clearly. So I submitted three dependent care claims and they paid them. Then I submitted 2 more dependent care claims and they have been denied over and over. Before we signed with this new Flex fund we asked about dependent care for our daughter - and were told exactly what the IRS regulations state - that if you have child that is disabled, you can deduct (or use flexible spending) under either (dependent or medical). Now these idiots are withholding over $1000 of our money because they want a letter of medical necessity -- for what - child care!!!! We depend on this money as my daughter has a lot of special needs. According to what I have read on the IRS website - it is illegal to withhold our money for legitimate expenses. They pay for dog food but not dependent care -- you can't have a service animal unless you have an ADA recognized disability - so they know she is disabled. These people are ignorant and rude.

IRS regulations require the note of medical necessity, not ADP.

I reread it... while I stick by my comment of JB's response not being mature, it wasn't ADP's fault.

This site won't let me delete my previous comment. The company was at fault in that case and should have compensated their employee back to make good on their failed promise of providing the correct amount of pay for the service that they were provided from the employee.

A brand new FSA Scam

Last year ADP refused a (perfectly legitimate) payment. TODAY, they're telling me that same charge was an OVERPAYMENT and they want to be reimbursed for something they didn't pay for in the first place They did manage to keep fifteen dollars of my money last year by putting a bogus hold on my account at the last minute. So far, this year, they've put up one stumbling block after another - and have managed to refuse every single claim I've made. You just gotta love such dedication to Pure Evil.

These people are CROOKS. I overestimated my 2011 spending needs, so spent out the last few hundred dollars at the optometrist for some new glasses. They allowed the charge - that was in December. Then, at the end of February I got a letter saying "We cannot verify this charge, we've tried twice before to contact you and if you don't provide some receipts PDQ we're going to cut you off" LIARS!!! I never received any two prior notifications - that was the first I heard of it. ADP processes my paychecks as well, so I open anything from them as soon as it enters the house. I was able to convince them that it was a legitimate charge - but only after they'd already refused a couple other charges ... and then, gosh, it's too late for 2001. You do know what happens to any money left over in your account, right? The provider pockets it. Motive, Means, and Opportunity.

I forgot to mention - their call center is in India and the people who answer have accents so thick as to be nigh unto impossible to understand.

Yet when an employer calls ADP, they quickly get put through to someone who speaks perfect English.

Coincidence? Yeah, and I've got a bridge for sale, cash only and small bills please. ;)

ADP Problems Go On-and-On

An ADP salesman showed up at my business a few years ago and I was interested in their payroll services. Additionally, I was interested in their employee background check service. I had to enroll for at least one payroll and I signed up for background checks, since I had some problems in the past with employees. I chose three individuals to check their background, the history came back clear. After I let one of the employees go that I had checked on, his parole agent showed up to check on his performance. The background check never revealed he had been in prison? I talked to ADP about the situation and I was told that agencies are not required to submit data to their system, they can if they want to. So, their data base is not complete. I was never told this originally. I wanted my money back from ADP. I must of made 8 contacts concerning the refund and each time I was told the refund was taken care of and processed. Not true. Finally, I received the refund, but it took so many calls and contacts to accomplish what a single call should of done. I had another situation that I reduced payroll and I had fewer people on payroll, but I was still charged the same rate for a larger payroll. This continued for a long time, despite making many many calls to ADP. The problem I feel is a training issue. They hire inexperienced supervisors and managers to train inexperienced drones. I think the company is a grand ripoff. They collect payroll taxes every two weeks, but do not have to submit them to the feds and state but once a quarter. They have all that money from all their customers for months, collecting interest and earning large chunks of cash. This company is a big money maker and to get any of your money back it will take many many contacts and lots of your time to resolve any issues you may have. Big thumbs down to ADP.

ADP misleads their customers

I worked at ADP, their management staff is incompetant and abusive. It's a dog eat dog working atmosphere. I sat beside someone that was a heavy drinker, "a Mean Drunk", would spend the 1st four hours of the work day talking loudly, saying that She would would get even with us, if we ever said anything bad about her..She was constantly telling us that she would " make us brownies with Exlax", that she "beat, one of her ex-husbands with a base ball bat", and, on and one. She rarely did any work (her work was always late - but, managment would just reassign it to someone else). The supervisor was soft spoken guy that covered up for certain people, while overloading others with work The Human Resource Manager at that location must hold a world's record for illegally firing good employees....He terminated one lady, that had ligitimate disabilities, (that ADP never accommodated her needs, for)..but, he quoted outdated FLMA law. ..and they are suppose to be experts in Human Resource management? Ha! They are dishonest with their customers

Something is not right

i have ADP for both dependent and health care, the service has seriously declined...if I can understand anyone on the other line to work on my problem, that would be the first step... second I don't recommend the health portion, now it is almost impossible to even run your debit card to even pay a co pay!!!!< now that doesn't add up< I am at the Doctors office and my card doesn't work, even after calling it in not only with my employer and ADP the say they fixed it, it is not .... i wish i never signed up this year more money down the drain......>>>
