It's tough to read all of these reviews. We've had a few issues that have come up, but they were taken care of pretty quickly - nothing that's left me feeling as frustrated as some of these folks say.

I can honestly say that they've saved me a few times on some really ugly possible compliance issues, if audited, would have been a bad and expenseive day. Good luck.

Royally screwed up our payroll..

ADP does not return phone calls, does not fix mistakes and their customer services is awful. Do not use this company. Use a smaller company or do it yourself. They double deposited our companies payroll into employees bank accounts and as of today, 96 hours later they have not fixed it. This is the last and most eggregious mistake of many they have made. We are a small company located in NH and right now we are on hold waiting for a managher to pick up the phone. It's ridiculous and we are done with them as soon as we can find a new service. D. Being in the payroll industry for 25+ years totally understand why individuals get upset when their pay is wrong. Hence our small business & we do what the larger bureaus don't - return calls, check the payroll before sending back to client, answer the phone and many more.

We also work with Planet Payroll Inc USA - great pond divided but we are both good. Unique client relationship is our forte.......

We've got 150 ee's and used to have ADP as our payroll provider after forgiving mistake after mistake I finally went over to PayDay USA. The best decision I could have ever made; they saved us money, gave us more features software-wise, and have 110% better customer service.

Highly recommend them to anyone who's looking. Our rep is Patrick - (770)395-****, hope this helps.

ADP takes 5 years and still can't get it right!

5 years later and ADP still hasn't filed all the tax forms! Besides the time-line below, I find out today that the W-2's still haven't been filed and the IRS is coming after me with civil penalties. Even when supervisors acknowledge the responsibility ADP has to file my tax forms from 2004 it doesn't happen. This company is a joke and I wish I could hold them accountable for all the time and frustration they have caused me. Check out this email thread from last year... I determined that not only had ADP not filed as required but that my contact info was never updated and I had not received anything from ADP notifying me of this. Ms. Medina confirmed that ADP was responsible and assured me that I would receive a letter stating this along with confirmation of intent to file. 1/9/08 After following up with Ms. Medina by email I am told that it is year-end and everyone is "Busy" but that her supervisor is aware of it. It is ADP's responsibility to file these forms immediately. I can assure ADP that if assets of my corporation are attached by the IRS i will pursue every avenue to get compensation for the damages to my company due to ADP's neglect. I also require the letter sent to me immediately stating ADP will file the required forms and I would like a direct line contact number for a ADP supervisor who will hold responsibility for this matter so that I or the IRS can contact for any necessary follow-up. Please reply to this email with the name and direct line contact number for the ADP supervisor. I will be contacting the IRS today and would like to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.

You're not isolated when it comes to this experience. There is a time and it has come that the Federal and State governing authorities start to recognize the problem when it comes in the masses of failure with ADP. Any communication with any agency should be opened by the following:

Dear ________________

I utilize ADP Payroll and Tax Processing as my service and am in response to your Notice.

I would warn anyone who wants to do business with ADP: don't do it. They have made mistakes almost every time i ask them to change something on our payroll. they mixed up our VP's bonus with the receptionist, so everyone knew what bonuses they were getting....

I signed up for this service thinking that it would make my life more convenient, but it has not. Unless you plan on spending big money each year for medical services, do not under any circumstance use this service.

ADP IS THE WORSE!

***-poor, incompetent customer service = ADP. I used ADP to process my payroll (I am a small business owner). I put up with their poor customer service for a year. Then when I finally decided to drop them, they give me a hard time with fees. Unexplained fees left and right, automatically withdrawn from my account. But that's not it. They sent me a letter stating that ADP will be responsible for filing my W-2s and W-3s. Guess what? They don't file them. When I spoke to custmer service, I am informed that they will not file since I drop them in the middle of the year! When I onformed them that I have a letter stating that THEY WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE, they say the letter is a miscommunication! What?! So now I'm stuck with penalties from the government for late filings! DO NOT USE ADP. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! DO NOT USE ADP. USE SOMEONE ELSE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We used ADP for payroll several years ago without a problem. Last year the company switched from PaycomDFW to ADP and what a nightmare it has been.

we have to log in to the ADP website to clock in and clock out. You log in and then get a 'loading app' message for about 10 minutes; then the system logs you off for inactivity.

A few minutes ago I tried to request 4 days time off in August and got an error message saying that I could not request time in December.

This was a good company with a good product. What happened?

I've had great success with ADP as my payroll provider. I have an organization of 80 people, been using them for six years and to date, no problem. Paychex is the worst out there by far.
