The worst!
we use their payroll and this was first year for retirement services. Trust me, you can call them with questions and problems and get a different answer every time. If you think you have talked to someone in support and got it resolved... think again we have a safe harbor and have had to go through testing 3 times because of mistakes on their end. Had to file a tax extension and now my employees will have to submit a amended tax return. Today was the last straw, $14,370 pulled from my account for no reason and believe me, they are quick to take and slow to give back. pretty much it was pass the buck time, payroll service blamed retirement services and retirement blamed payroll. Last chat was a resolution team reviewing it. Really? Not what you want to hear.
Cons:
- Red tape
- 401k distribution

Unable to register on their adpmykplan site
4 months so far and still unable to register on the adpmykplan site. Recommend avoiding these idiots for managing your 401k. You will get the run around, they will tell you to wait 6 weeks (which I did). then they will tell you it is your accountants problem. They will let you set pin numbers over and over. They got the part about taking your money out of your check down good, but no idea what they are doing with it. I don't trust someone that says 'trust me your money is fine' when I can't get to it to see what is going on.

ADP Retirement Services Red tape and poor customer service
When I tried to complete a direct roll transaction via telephone, I was told that ADP does not offer ABA wire option. They refused to issue the check to include the new contract ID number as was requested by the receiving plan stating " we are not able to add anything to a check". The representative was not very helpful at all and continued to read from a script. When I asked to speak with a supervisor to file a formal complaint, I was told that I would have to contact the HR department. When I told the representative that I was no longer an employee, he said "HR is the only department who could file a complaint with us." This is my second horrible experience with ADP. Firs it was their payroll client services department and now retirement service plan department.

WAITING FOR THEIR SO CALLED PAYABLE FORM SINCE 3 MONTHS
My situation is like I have a good amount in FSA and I cant use my card due to a little amount which I have to pay them.I am ready to pay but they said they will send me a form and I can attach my check to that form. I am waiting for that form since December 27th 2014.Its been almost 4 months. I contacted their customer support by all possible means.Their response is like "You will receive it in 15 mins" every time. I am paying from out of pocket for my medical expenses even though I added a very good amount in my FSA. Is this a way to deal with customers.

Horrible Customer Service Flex Spend Threatening Letter
Why threaten me to suspend my account that has over $500 for a $35 receipt. The letter says follow the claim instructions on line. Has anyone at ADP ever used your own instructions? Obviously not. There are no instructions for mailing in the receipt. The CS reps are rude, lack any knowledge of customer process or demonstrate any sense of helping a customer. Unreal, I ran into the same problem last year and the rep flat out lied to me about why the amount was not processed. Once we proved she lied, they we moved to well, I don't know what to tell you everyone just tells to say the wrong code was used. ADP service is HORRIBLE, threatening letters won't stop. It is time to engage the BB and the GA State Office Of Insurance to stop the ADP SCAM and Customer Harassment.

Customer non-service
I called about an existing claim. The person taking the call would listen to my question then wait with about 5 minutes of silence - then I would ask if he was still there and he would give a partial answer to the question. My impression was definitely that he was trying to get me to give up so that my claim would not be processed and they could keep my money. I asked why they had not communicated status on my claim (it had been a full month) and he said that they had mailed something. I told him it was strange for US mail to take over 3 weeks to deliver and he seemed uninterested. I asked him to have it sent again and he claimed he did - here we are 2 weeks later and no letter. I did verify my address with him so that is not the issue - I really suspect he just lied to me. At very least, demand that your employer use a better service - these guys do not care about their customers.

401k mistakes
My large company hired ADP to payroll services beginning January 2015. I have not yet had the correct amount deposited into 401k account. My latest pay stub shows that not only was no money deposited but now they have "credited" me with previous pre-tax contributions from my 401k. My federal taxable gross was more than my gross pay for the period. And they are blaming Vanguard for the error. My employer has involved vice president of benefits and still no resolution. Can't wait till everything goes "paperless" in 30 days so I won't even see what isn't happening with my payroll because no information yet available on how we will access out stub information. Wow I can figure my pay with a $5 solar powered calculator. Why can't an entire company dedicated to this type of service? ADP will have me in trouble with the IRS for an early 401k withdrawal and no recourse. Any information on how to reach upper management of ADP would be appreciated.

Amount of time to get MY 401(K) funds
So, I changed my 401(K) contribution to 0% about two weeks before I departed my company. I got paid on 14th & 29th of each month. The company rep I spoke to stated that to receive distribution I needed to either (1) complete a form and send to my previous company administrator (HR) or wait two weeks after my final paycheck was received. (1) I don't see why my HR rep needs to approve me getting my money out of my 401(k) and (2) in this day of modern technology, why do I have to wait for two weeks after my final paycheck to request my money???? I've removed money (early distribution) from other companies with no where near this hassle. What a scam/joke!!!

Terrible Service, Terrible Employer
ADP refused to pay a $12.82 charge for diagnostics that were triggered by doctor's request. When I submitted the invoice as paid to the (well known) diagnostics company, it was rejected for not containing service information. When I called ADP, I waited on hold for 30 minutes until my call was picked up by a foreign call center (apparently, an overworked and underpaid customer support team). I offered to pay the amount to clear up the block they had placed on my FlexDirect card, but I was advised to pay all invoices with my own charge card and submit them back to ADP, as it would take three weeks to process a $12.82 payment and they don't take payments by phone.

Transfer fees and moving accounts
We have been a customer of ADP 401k for several years. To set up our account we had to pay $1500. We pay over $170 a month for them to administer. We have 2 people in the plan. We changed payroll companies and went to transfer the program and were told we have a $1500 transfer fee for ALL the paperwork they have to do - really??? Buyers beware. DO NOT choose a 401k for a small business with ADP unless you have the sales team go over every single rule with you upfront. There is no hands on support. The most they do is to send you your 5500 for review and to mail you a packet. Participants get a quarterly statement. It's an unreasonable amount of money for a small business for what you actually get and a penalty on the backend if you change your mind. Not worth it!!

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE FROM DAY ONE
I had an account consisting of payroll and Flexible Spending for parking through my employer. I was leaving that employer in May 2014 and still had a significant balance in my Flexible Spending account. They told me that I could only withdrawal approximately $250 a month (per IRS) from the Flexible Spending Account, but I had over $600 in the account. The catch was that I only had a receipt for $300. This all came about because I had taken a leave of absent the previous fall so there was 2 months that I did not have to pay for parking, but that was stilling being deposited in that account from my pay check. At that point, they told me that I would have until January of 2015 to submit receipts to claim the money or I would forfeit the remaining balance. As wrong as that is, considering everything in that Flexible Spending Account was my money I figured with the miscellaneous parking I would have throughout the year that I would be able to recover some if not most of it. Now 3 months later I have parking receipts that I was trying to submit and could not gain access to my online account. Which by the way was nothing new. So I called customer service and they tell me that when I left my previous employer that I was offered COBRA and by enrolling in the COBRA plan I would have access to the Flexible Spending Account. The other side of that is that I have insurance so why would I pay the huge fees for COBRA to just get access to the other accounts. That does not make any sense. So in a nut shell, I have probably lost approximately $400 to $500 dollars. Which only leaves one question "Who should I call and congratulate for the bonus or raise that they received with my money?" because you know that money will not sit in limbo forever. Absolutely one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. So my advice to anyone that see the name ADP regarding Flexible Spending type account is run for the hills or except to take a loss.

They used to be a good company
ADP forced us to change to their "better" RUN payroll from the EasyPay we have used for over 15 years without problems. This new one was a disaster. They screwed up everything and after more than 3 hours on the telephone, mainly on hold, they do not know how to fix it correctly, after spouting several flat out lies regarding IRS rules that they have been complying with properly for 15 years. I have to go out of town on a business trip, and my first call when I return to the office will be to call a new payroll service provider.

ADP Flex pay is criminal
does anyone know of an attorney I can contact regarding these crooks. I used my flex spending card in 2012 to pay for a root canal at my dentist. The cost was 532.00. I was asked to submit a receipt which I did and thought that everything was fine. This year 750 dollars on my flex spending card is on hold because the receipt in 2012 was not accepted as it was not itemized in the way they needed it to be. 750 dollars can't be used until I give them an itemized receipt, however- itemized receipts need to be received with 365 days of service and so there is no way to remove the hold. I've now made a 750 dollar donation to ADP and if I load my card next year- that money will be on hold as well.
